| Brisas del Nara offer an exceptional horseback tour for those wiho want to make the most of their vacation time in Costa Rica. We are located near Quepos / Manuel Antonio in the foothills of the Cerro Nara Mountains. We offer full day and half day tours. Both tours include meals, as well as transportation to and from your hotel. Our guides are fully bilingual and knowleadgeable about the local wildlife, vegetation and ecosssystems. Both tours are suitable for all ages, from §never rode a horse before§. Beginners to experienced riders. Our horses are safe, well-mannered mounts. They are well-fed, healthy horses; eager to please. Each horse carries raincoat for your clients comfort in case of rain. |
After a full typical Costa Rican breakfast, we mount up and ride into the Cerro Nara Mountains through lush rainforest with a lot of wild life in this unspoiled area.
After about 1 1/2 hours of riding, we come to an awesome 350 - foot waterfall. Here we dismount and relax at our confortable rancho in the rainforest which also has a modern sanitary restroom / changing room.overlooks a large crystal clear natural swimming pool in the river, perfect for a refreshing swim.
The return ride down the mountain is just as beautiful and adventure-filled, and when we return you´re treated to a hearty Tico-style lunch, all beverages included.
Time frame:
3 hours horseback riding, recreation time at the waterfall.
Pick up time at your hotel is 7:30 a.m
You will get back to your hotel about.
Half day Tours:
Is a good choise for those who want to ride for less time, have other activities planned for the day, have small children, or want to ride over easier terrain.
Arriving at our ranch / restaurant your client will enjoy a delicious full breakfast, then we start out on horseback, riding through tropical rainforest in the Protect Zone of the Cerro Nara. This area is inhabited by many species of small animals, colorful birds and butterflies. We ride deep in to the rain forest to a beautiful waterfall. At the rancho here you can enjoy swimming in the pristine waters at the base of the falls. Upon our return to our ranch / restaurant you are served a wholesome typical tico lunch, including all beverages. Half day tours can be scheduled for the early afternoon if desired.
Time Frame:
Morning half day: Pick up at 7:30 a.m. return to hotel at:12:30 p.m
Afternoon half day: pick up at: 1:30 p.m.
